A Certificate of Naturalization is the official document issued by United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) as proof of a person who has been granted U.S. citizenship through naturalization.

A Certificate of Citizenship is the official document issued by USCIS as proof of a person obtaining U.S. citizenship through U.S. citizen birth parents, regardless if the birth took place overseas. Or, if your parents became naturalized while you were under the age of 18 and met the special conditions of the law.
