Investors can apply to immigrate to the US under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program if they agree to invest in projects, known as Regional Centers. Regional Centers can submit their own applications — in the form of USCIS Form I-924 (Application For Regional Center Under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program) — to show that they are ready for investment. Once the Regional Centers are approved, the USCIS can accept I-526 petitions from investors in the program to actually invest in the business projects. Regional Centers can submit USCIS Form I-924 if they would like to be designated as a Regional Center and considered for investment or if they would like to make an amendment or change to their current Regional Center designation.
